For our first character design class, the teacher told us to create same character only in two different ways, for example: iconic (simple image of the charactermeant for a younger group of people, such as children) and realistic. Nevertheless, I got bear Pooh, which is already made in basic shapes and curvy lines, making him seem friendly and squishy.
The three top images are meant to represent simplicity. Although drawing more realistic character they become more creepy. With the help from a teacher, I understood that some character can't be fully realistic. So my last image in right down corner, successfully became like bear Pooh only a tiny bit realistic.
